CERSE Faculty Listserv

CERSE operates a Faculty Listserv to communicate with faculty and staff with regards to funding opportunities, important updates from funding agencies, communication from sponsored programs, etc. CERSE uses the listserve as a means of getting information to the interested research community.

CERSE Faculty Network

CERSE is a mechanism for coordination, consolidation and support of evidence based disability research endeavors, by offering a multitude of key support services to research and physician scientists. The following are support services that will be offered to assist research and physician scientists with:

Identification of potential funding sources

Interdisciplinary research team building

Project planning, implementation & evaluation

Pen-to-paper grant writing assistance

Biostatistical support relating to research design, methods, stats, evaluation

“In-Vivo” grant-getting mentorship

Identification of resources necessary for grant operations

Financial management, budgeting, and compliance with fiscal regulations

Identifying and utilizing advanced technology for data collection and analysis

Access to an international network of rehabilitation collaborators

Access to community & VCU rehabilitation subjects & lab settings

The Office of Research Subjects Protection (ORSP) facilitates the review process through providing guidance and education on research subjects protection and the VCU review process.

Research Incubator

The Clinical and Translational Research Incubator is designed to serve as a hub for resources and networking opportunities for established researchers and junior clinical investigators who are working on novel, interdisciplinary and collaborative clinical research at Virginia Commonwealth University.
