Step 1: Proposal Development
Researcher(s) / Principal Investigators must:
- Research idea / concept
- Notify VCU-CERSE of intent to submit
VCU-CERSE will:
- Assist with funding search
- Identify & contact potential collaborators
- Contact Program Officer with questions
- Notify OSP of intent to submit
Step 2: Proposal Preparation
Researcher(s) / Principal Investigators must:
- Conduct literature review
- Write proposal
VCU-CERSE will:
- Assist with literature review
- Set internal deadlines, task assignments
- Interpret guidelines
- Develop detailed budget
- Assist with grant writing
- Provide biostatistical and methodological support
- Assist with editing, collecting biosketches / CVs, etc.
- Obtain letters of support
Step 3: Internal Approvals
Researcher(s) / Principal Investigators must:
- Upload proposal to VCUeRA
VCU-CERSE will:
- Assist with navigating the submission process
- Obtain internal signatures
- Submit to OSP
Step 4: Proposal Submission
Researcher(s) / Principal Investigators must:
- Upload proposal to VCUeRA
