VCU-CERSE provides physical medicine and rehabilitation research addressing the needs of America's warriors and heroes, children and adults with disabilities, and their families. The overarching goal is interdisciplinary rehabilitation research across the lifespan careful coordination and consolidation of VCU researchers, clinicians, rehabilitation specialists, and academicians from the Schools of Medicine, Allied Health, Education and Engineering, as well as the Hunter Holmes Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) and the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services.
